Capsaicin



Capsaicin is the active ingredient in Chilli Peppers. It is an alkaloid found in plants belonging to genus Capsicum. Capsaicin produces a burning sensation when it comes in contact with any tissue. Capsaicin possesses antibacterial properties and is found to be effective in curing sinus infections. Capasicin has anti-inflammatory properties and is also found useful to fight against nerve damages as a result of high sugar levels in blood. It also helps to burn fat and lose weight.
